Sun
Strokes is the Fort Lauderdale/Boca Raton Chapter of the Society
of Decorative Painters. Monthly meetings provide for hands-on
development of skills, a sharing of ideas, a great chance to socialize,
and participation in worthwhile community projects. Sun Strokes
was started in 1975 and chartered in 1977. We invite you to join
this collection of artists, painters and teachers. |

Sun Strokes meet the second Saturday of each month, excluding July and August. Each meeting consists of a short business meeting and a painting workshop. Workshop fee is $5.00 Also we sponsor seminars each year with nationally known and qualified teachers. Seminars can be in oils, acrylics or watercolors.
Meetings are from 9:00 am until 3:00pm. Sign in at the front table
is from 9:00 - 9:30 am. Business meeting begins at 9:30 am.
Bring a lunch or you may choose to go out to one of the newly opened
facilities nearby.
Membership is $25 and is open to everyone. Beginners welcome. You may attend one meeting as a guest without joining. Go here for printable membership form
